Thanks Ken, if you have the time to look at picture#4, the knifehead broke while I was cutting around the pond. this happened due to missing a few knives (broke off) and trying to cut through some really deep thick stuff. I hope to put the new but rusty bar in soon. I was just waiting for the manuals. I want to go through the whole thing and get it up to snuff. I think it will be an awesome piece of equipment when I get it going. Even with missing knives, it was doing a great job. How much are the chromed serrated knives and are they worth it? Seems like rust will be my biggest enemy.

If that knife broke in the thicker plate that is attached to the small longer plate? I have seen several of those welded back together and hold for years when done properly (Be good for a standby blade)--The regular section blades are fine as long as you oil them down after each use and try to store inside---Ken Sweet
