I saw a fellow using something one time and now that my county isn't doing any spraying or mowing wish I'd stopped and talked to the fellow.
What it was, was a simple offset mower. It wasn't a typical deck mower it looked like a giant version of an electric hedge trimmer, a set of blades that acted like multiple scissors, they went back and forth at a speed (at least when I saw it) much slower than the blur of a hedge trimmer. It was a 3pt setup running off of his pto. Anyone seen something like this?
If there was a ditch it could be angled down quite a bit.
Is there any other mechanized way to mow at least some way down a ditch? I really hate those shoulder weedeaters.
thanks
