Sidewinder rotary mower???

Hello,
Can anyone here tell me anything about Sidewinder "bush hogs"? A guy at the local rental place has a couple of 5' Sidewinders for $350 (for the pair). One is ready to go, the other needs a little work or could be used for parts. Good deal? Good mower? Keep looking?

I don't know anything about them, but how can you go wrong for the $? Especially with one "ready to go"?

have seen several tire drive sidewinder hogs in our area of middle tn, never heard anything bad about them. seem to be built to last.
