Hello all,
I have been reading up a lot on all your posts and all your helpful comments. I hope you have some advise for me as well.
Just bought some land and inherited a pole barn, telephone posts 12 inch, 15 feet spacing, currently 30 ft wide and 30 ft long, 15 ft height on one side and 13 feet on the other, all sloped to the back with a pitch height of 2 feet over the 30 feet length. The need:
- I need to have at least 35 ft for my travel trailer
- like to have one bay for general work area
- like to have a shop on the side
- like to have a rest room in the back

The plan:
- tear the roof of and leave the metal beams on the posts.
- add additional posts (12 feet x width) in the back and one side (12 feet by length)
- extend the metal beams over the additional posts in the back with wood trusses
- put new metal roof on
