Hello Forum, I've recently been offered to buy a tractor (simplicity 4040) by a friend of a friend that is thinking of selling it and we are trying to come up with a fair value for it. The tractor runs and drives, hydraulics work, bucket as a small hole, needs all fluids and filters replaced and some work on one of the spindles.
Oh and it doesn't have rear PTO and the hours counter is broken as well. This is in california so no excessive rust besides some surface rust here and there. What do you guys think would be a fair value for this? I've seen some crazy prices on craigslist for tractors figured I ask here before offering above what its worth. Thanks in advance.
