I'm not sure if a 6111 actually qualifies as a "tractor" yet, but figure'd y'all can help either way. Once the engine gets hot (mowing about 15-20 minutes) it starts running as though it's full-choked. I cranked the high-speed screw on the carb full closed, and it helped, but it still seems to be running rich. if i hold the governor in the idle position, the engine purrs, so it's only a problem at higher revs.
Before I start throwing random parts at the carb, is there a way to figure out if it's a problem with the high-speed needle valve or my other theory, the float (or the needle on it) isn't closing off the fuel flow when the bowl gets full?
Any other obvious checks i'm missing?
