Hmmm. I need to think more about this mulching thing. My wife told me to stop mulching to eliminate all of the deck cleaning I do. I guess I've been complaining too much about all the time I spend on lawn care. What she forgets though is how crappy the lawn looked before I put the mulch kit on the lawn tractor. I think I'll get the new mower and cut a few times to show her what a mess it'll be. Then I'll get the mulch kit. Your comments were helpful...doesn't sound like a big deal to keep it clean.

I try not to let the lawn get away from me though now and then it does. I just mow it a couple of times to take it down a notch at a time. I'll do the same with the ZT if necessary as you suggested.

Did you end up getting that mower? I am looking at the same unit (at the same price). I currently have a Toro Z5030 and want to upgrade. If you did get it, how is it working out for you and is the 61" deck worth the extra $500?
