Coming here for the 1st/2nd time looking for some info. I have a Simplicity Javelin zero turn mower, 20HP Kohler Command engine. It must be 5-8 years old, after a tune up it runs like a top.
The problem is the deck is only 36". I'm looking to swap in a larger deck, hopefully 50". After pages of Google searches, machine finder search's etc, it seems this is a pretty rare mower, and used parts are hard to come by.
Unless I'm very patient and lucky I don't think I'm going to come across another Javelin 50" deck. Soo here's the question: Do any of you Simplicity Guru's out there know if the decks off of other simplicity zero turns would fit into this one?
What info would I need to figure out if a different deck would fit? Mounting points? Pully sizes? I know the Javelin had 44" and 50" deck options, so I know something bigger will fit.
