"Since last visit" not always updating

When I check in I always use the "Since my last visit" option to see whats new. I've noticed quite a few times a thread I'm following isn't shown as having new posts since my last visit when, in fact, it does. There will be many threads listed but maybe not all of them with new posts.
Any ideas?

I have had a few problems with the threads in Since My Last Visit and My Home before.

I would sometimes get a few threads permanently stuck in My Home.

But they seem to have cleared up now.

Have you tried logging out and then logging back in. That can clear a few problems. Or maybe deleting cookies, though I doubt that that would do anything for this problem.
