Needed a way to rip a simple trench for conduit laying.
Found that a heavy duty hitch and a box rake ripper tooth would mate up.
Utilized my Qhitch and weight bracket.
Can add the other tooth for a double wide rip.
Next step is a pull nose for plastic pipe.

Looks like a quick and easy subsoiler, good job!

I made up "a special" receiver hitch mounting for the same tooth, Two plates, one on either side of the 2 inch square tube with holes drilled for the tooth. I suppose I could bolt up three blades ;-) I like your adaptation better!

I've use the ripper behind the Bolens to soften up the ground for putting in about 150 ft of french drain, and just a couple weeks ago did the same ground breaking to put in a row of purple asparagus.. The Ripper brings the stones up readily where they can be tossed aside.

One thing if I were doing over, I would make use of the top link in such a way that the tooth really comes clear of the ground when the unit is up. As is now, Full up still gives a gouge here and a gouge there when moving from place to place. No flat ground here ;-) It may just be a limitation of the home built 3PH I've fitted to the HT-23.

A Very handy tool! Thanks for sharing!
