Single Plow Attachment for a Massey Ferguson subcompact

A tiller pulls a lot harder than you might think. I bought a 6 ft tiller sand massey ferguson 1531 would not handle it. I ended up pulling it with my allis Chalmers 185. I ended up selling the tiller to a guy who planned on pulling it a 4020 John Deere. Both of latter mentioned tractors are 70+ hp. It is true that with a tiller it will do a nice job and you won't need a disc.
However, on the other hand I think your tractor would pull a small 3 pt disc.
You can control the depth the disc is in the ground. I have a big disc with a hydraulic cylinder to to raise and lower the disc. If my allis Chalmers 185 is laboring or pulling hard, I just raise the disc a little bit.
That is the pro-con as I see it. The disc is cheaper and will do the job. The tiller is more expensive and will do a really nice job without requiring a disc. Which ever way you go, be careful you do not buy something that is to much for your tractor.

Thanks for the info. Someone is selling a Kabuta 48" tiller for 1500$ might pull the trigger
