SISU diesels-anyone know about \'em?

I'm seeing this diesel in larger MF agricultural tractors, anyone know anything about them?

SISU, Valmet All The Same, MF Has Been Using It In Larger Tractors For Years, VERY Good Engine, Think Of It As Europe's Cummins

I am curious however as to why is it that we are not finding domestic engines in tractors sold here.
Isn't anything made in the US any more?

Well AGCO Our "Mother" Company Of The Fine MF Line Owns SISU, Thats Probably Why They're Running Them In The Larger Tractors. Seeing As They Had A Falling Out With Cummins I Would Expext To See Them In The Orange Tractors & Other Larger Equipment Soon Too

Hey,

Actually Cummins did not see alot of action , other than some of the AGCO line. MF only in a few instances used Cummins. Always been Perkins or SISU!! By the way things look, Cummins has a way to go to catch SISu in the technology/power/ emissions areas.

When I was shopping last year, I saw a few of these. They were mostly in a larger class of tractor than I was in the market for(I have a 120 hp and that is where these began). I was told an interesting fact - from the time a block is cast, one man assembles the engine and is responsible for it. He "signs" for it before it is installed. Susposed to be of very high quality.
