Size of attachments (pictures)

I'm sure this is not the place for this, but.......

Whenever I open attachments to posts on this site, usually pictures, they open up so large that I cant even tell what they are trying to show. I would guess they are about 20 X the size they should be. Would anyone have any ideas why or what I need to do to correct this? Some attachments open correctly, but most are vastly enlarged.

Ha! I thought this was going to be about how big of a bush hog, bb, etc.......with pictures! LOL

I do know what you mean. Sometimes when I try to view a large photo on my ipad, it crashes the app!.
