Size of Zerk fittings on 7308 loader?

I've noticed both metric and standard hardware on my new (to me) TC29.

Got some zerks that have broken off or are clogged and looking to replace...

What size are the zerks on the 7308 loader, and are they the same throughout tractor? Have a 757C BH that might need some replacements as well.

Not sure but maybe 1/4" . Hope you have better luck than I on getting grease thru some of them,thought maybe they were clogged and I changed out and still could not get grease thru.[ on bucket fittings that is,fittings at cyl pivots seem to be ok ]. Do you have same problem ?

That's how I broke a couple of them - trying to get grease into the fittings.

I want to buy the reaming/extraction tool at Tractor Supply. Guess I take one of the Zerks off and take it with me to the store and 'test fit' the fitting

I'll let you know what eventually happens.

I'm thinking the metal is so tight fitting in the bushing it will not go in. I took grease fitting off & grease would go thru zerk, reinstalled and tried again,no luck. Ended up taking zerk fitting off of grease gun and put on a pinpoint end and got small amount around bushings.Maybe position of bucket and pressure has something to do with it?

The position likely has a lot to do with it. One of the first tricks to try on a zerk that won't take grease is to reposition that joint and try again.

You can get a box of different ones at Harbor Freight for a few dollars, standard or metric. The tractor will need the metric ones.
