Sizing trailer for a Kubota MX5000DT?

Well, the tractor alone is greater than 10 feet long, add the loader length out in front, and a mower on the back and you're probably looking at a minimum trailer of 20' but preferably a minimum of 22 feet would be better.
With all that weight, tractor is probably 3500#, loader, not sure, mine is about 750# if I remember right, and a mower could be a couple of hundred to several hundred pounds. You would not want to load your trailer to it's max weight limit, so I would say you could "get by" with two 3500# axles but 5,000# axles would be better. Remember that one must deduct the weight of the trailer from it's max LL, and what's left over is the max in equipment you can carry. I never want mine right at the top of that "limit."

It's going to be pushing a 7,000 gvr trailer. I think you need a 10,000 lb gvr trailer and you will be fine.
About what do 10,000lb rated 18-20' trailers run? Do they make the car hauler types with 10k axles?
Looks like if I want to look at the L4400 because it about 1000lbs less in the first place and the 7k might work.

I priced a 20 foot 12,000 pound trailer with electric brakes on both axles. Trailer also had pipe side rails. It was $2800.
You could look at some farming/construction auctions for some used ones if the price is to steep.
Also what kind of truck do you have to pull it with?

I have found that trailer pricing depends on where you are located and supply and demand in your area. Here in NY a 20' 12K trailer would cost over 4K. I checked with all local dealers withing 50 miles of me and ended up driving to PA (6Hrs each way) to buy a trailer and saved over 1K. The cost of food and fuel down and back was well worth the savings.

You're in the middle of cheap trailer country. My PJ trailer is a 10k lb car hauler style with dovetail, bumper pull, and 18' deck. It cost me about 3000$ here in WA but PJs come from Kansas. I love this trailer. An mX5000 is no small tractor, neither is an L4400. I don't think a 7000 lb trailer is gonna do it. When you load the trailer with a mower it needs to be loaded way forward to avoid rear overhang. I use every bit of my 18' with the rear wheel of the mower folded up over the deck. Loading the machine way forward adds tons of tongue weight.
I load my 10k trailer right 7000 lbs, which leaves some buffer. I recommend the oversizing to extend the life of bearings, axles, and tires. Oh the 10k trailer in the picture weighs 2500 lbs.

Just another example of prices, I only needed a 3500# twin axle, brakes on both, 16' wood with 2' metal dove tail, 18' total.
I paid $1979. came with the fold up and chain ramps, all the DOT reflectors, and a spare tire mount (tire not included.)
Max= 7,000 - 2000 trailer weight = 5,000# WLL. Works great for my little CK20 with loader and backhoe, or loader and mower and the tail wheel is a few inches from the end.
I can put the TLB and a boxblade in front under the loader bucket as well.
I think with either of those tractors, you really will need a larger higher capacity trailer, but I hope you can buy the tractor you want and get the trailer you need rather than buying whatever tractor will fit the trailer you can afford.
It's never easy for most of us to afford all the goodies.
