Ski lift chair to garden chair
Well, not everything that comes out of MadReferee's shop is tractor related. Last Christmas a friend got an old chair lift from a local ski resort (mt Sunapee in NH) as a present. I recently converted it into a permanent chair for his garden. He will be doing the painting and re-slatting of the chair. A little ivy around the top and it shold look just fine.
Construction wise, I used the plasma cutter to cut off the top hook and bracketry. The legs and supports are made of 1.5" x 3/16" square tubing. This thing is solid as a rock.
