Skid plate fo L4610

Well Mr. Rat, thats very observant on the welding but its all wire just not to good of job. I weld about once a year and by the time i get some thing done its not to bad at the end but a little rough at the start. The cover for the filter was a peace of old well casing i had laying around, kind of rusty but the $$ was right/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif Now about this HST vers GST you must be kidding right?? THE ONLY thing that would make the HST any better are a pair of joy sticks that did every thing! I do however miss the 8 speed shifter on the go, having to stop and go from high to low is kind-a- slow, but over all its soooo much faster. is that enough???

This is to funny, i just ordered up a bunch of amsoil to! im going to put it in the 95 ford and the new 2000 F-350 we just got at work. the 95 got 110,000 on it so i hope it dose ok. If it works as good as the HST dose [ that mark and others recomened] i will be thrilled!!! thought i would waite on the Kubota till i rack up some hrs.

I can see the confusion I left Mark, the Amsoil went in my truck, a 93 F250 diesel. Prior to that it has always been Delo 15W40, which I must say, has proven to be very good especially in keeping things clean. The Kubota is next on the Amsoil list, especially the hydraulic fluid since the tractor is never warmed up per the instructions. Its close to its 400 hr oil changes. The L4850 instructions call for 10 min. warm up ( above 32 deg.) of the hydraulic fluid which never happens. I figure the Amsoil will help some in this regard.
Rich, does the 4610 give a warm up period prior to moving the tractor? The welding observation I made came from the spatter that appears in the great pictures you showed. Thanks to both you and Chalkley for sharing that info with those of us who have, want or are interested in your tractor models, they are most informative. Thanks, Rat...
