Got a call from the hired man at suppertime last night and he said, "I have good news and bad news. The good news is that the roll bar and the seat belt worked just like they are supposed to, the bad news is that your tractor is lying on its side." Well it seemed like a good time to inspect my homemade skid plate. We then tipped the tractor back up and towed it to the barn to sit overnight. This morning we checked all of the fluids, took the lines to the 3 injectors off so that it wouldn't try to start when we spun the engine with the starter. We then spun the engine with the starter to check and make sure there wasn't a hydraulic lock from oil getting into a cylinder. Everything looked normal so we put the tractor back together and used it all afternoon. I don't think we even added any new scratches All's well that ends well.
