I am looking to buy a rotary cutter for my Bobcat t650.

I have no experience with the Skid Pro units but have done a quite a bit of research on HD skid steer brush cutters. Does your 650 have high flow? When I purchased a little over a year ago I ended up with a Brushwolf M-AX, it is a huge cutter with a 600lb flywheel works fairly well. At that time I was really intrested in a Harleman MFG brush beaver, but couldn't find a dealer close by and no dealer that wanted to pick them up. I am all about service and couldn't buy one with no realative support. But **** the harleman looks badass yet.........

These guys have had this one for awhile I thought long and hard about purchasing it.

Here is another one to consider.

Tree Terminator - Slasher rotary mower for skid steers by Grace Manufacturing.

If you don't need to cut 8" trees, this is the 7 footer that I have.

Thanks, didn't realize you could see my whole albumn lol.........

On the Dymax one area to look at would be the bearing housing. To be honest i had problems with the brushwolf in this area and with the Dymax swinging 750LB's that is the weak spot. If you look at brushwolf's website you will see the old style where the bearing housing sits on top the deck and then the new style where the bearing housing sits on top of the built up steel support. You will also see that throught the build of the M-AX the bearing housing has grown substantially look at the 1st picture of the grey M-AX and then the last picture its a huge difference. I believe that is where the weak spot is on all these cutters using a heavy flywheel, I broke the old style bearing housing somehow.

I got the quote for the dymax. It is 12600. A bit out my price range. I went ahead and ordered a skid pro open brush cutter. Should get it in about a week.

Yeah I've had my skid pro HD cutter for 6 months now and replace the shaft 4 times and now the hyd. Motor has gone out. We have contracts with HNF mowing wild life opening and we don't mow anything bigger than 3 in and it just does hold together. I just don't know how to post pics
on here. I have picture if any one is interested.

I have had my skid pro since April and have had the fly wheel fall off. The motor twist off and the bearing housing almost twist off. The cutter has been down over that last six months for about six weeks. The guys at skid pro told me that my case was isolated and told me that they don't know why it would happen. They told me to weld the bolts down. I don't think it can handle what they advertise which is 6". I would not recommend skid pro.
