skid steer quick attach or not?

Thanks Kenny. Depends on the attachment to align itself? Doesn't appear to have a structural method of keeping both sides at the same pitch until an attachment is added.

Probably a vey effective system. Just really hard to find attachments set up that way?

There is "tie bar" on the loader side to help keep the shoes aligned, but yes the structural integrity comes mainly from the attached implement. This is not unlike a SSQA setup in this regard.

It is. It's easy, fast, and most importantly VERY light weight so it's ideal for the smaller tractors.

Maybe on the used market, but there are new items readily available from Frontier, Artillian, Everything Attachments, one importer of Chinesium stuff I won't mention, and other quality manufactures.

The reality is that on most sCUT's and CUT's there are really only three things you can effectively use, a bucket, some forks, and a lightweight grapple. Most all SSQA stuff that everybody says you can find cheap and interchange is really not usable due to the lower lift capacity, lack of hydraulics (or insufficient GPM flow if you have a 3rd function), or lower overall machine weight. Yes you can buy SSQA forks on Craigslist all day for ~$500, but they are usually 400 pounds and beat to crap.

Sorry for rambling a bit...

Don't forget snowplow.
I use bucket, forks and snow plow on my SSQA.

My 4105 came with the JDQA and I've never had a problem getting the relatively few attachments for a FEL in that configuration. (no requirement for a snowplow down here :))

I've got a 4in1 bucket and a combination (swap around) fork/bale-spikes for mine and swapping those attachments around is a breeze. Were I to get a grapple in the future, I would simply tell the manufacturer what FEL I have and that it's got the JDQA = no problem. The JDQA is robust while saving you the added weight of the SSQA; which is ultimately designed for a skid-steer.

I haven't seen any SSQA systems used around my part of the world... it's "global" if anything.
