G'day all, I'm in the process of rebuilding a front-end loader on my old Ford tractor and I'm converting it to SSQA. I have the diagram for the SSQA attachment plate that gives all the dimensions for that part and most of the build dimensions for the loader brackets can be extrapolated from that, with the exception of one or two things. We are in Covid lockdown so I can't go out and look at a machine elsewhere.
I'm hoping that someone with a SSQA loader on their machine can please take a couple of measurements for me; I need the centre-to-centre distance between the locking pins, also the diameter of the locking pins themselves please. Thank you in advance.

I'll try to get some numbers tomorrow from my Kubota.

My toolcat measures 33 3/8" pin spacing and 1.22" pin diameter. I wonder if Bobcat uses metric dimentions? (848mm and 31mm) There is room for error on the pin spacing as the pockets are quite large on the attachment. Pin diameter can change too as it actually latches on the taper end of the pin.

Thanks very much ruffdog. Latching on the taper end of the pin has me a bit puzzled, I'm thinking the taper on the pin should be on the side facing forward, toward the attachment, so it's the straight side of the tapered end that actually holds the implement? ......Ok I just looked at a few online images and I see that the pins have the taper on the tractor side, so they wedge the implement tight as they are pushed down. Good thing you mentioned that, I would have put them the other way around.

I don't have any measurements at this time for you,
I will say that there are more then one standard width.
The first link is to an amazon page what is of more interest is if you scroll down on the page to the other related products, the numerous options available;

This second image has some dimensions for the attachment plate;

And the third link has a good picture of the attachment plate showing the two different widths that the lower pins may be at;

Thanks for that link, I didn't come across that one in my searching.
I've put the loader out of the shed for a little while to do some work on my car- the fun had gone out of the tractor project for a bit. I had a mobile hydraulic hose guy come out the other day and we fitted the loader out with all new hoses and couplings- man did that cost a bomb. Hopefully I'll get the car finished early this week and get back onto the loader.

The SSQA conversion will be slightly more complicated than I hoped, my loader arms are spaced a little too wide. The outer vertical sides of the SSQA receiver are in about the center of each arm, so I'll need to build out in front a little more than expected. Kind of the opposite to the small Kubota in the above thread where the pins are outside the loader arms. I won't be buying any of the attachment system, rather build it from scratch.

I ran into that when exploring the idea of putting a SSQA on the Ford 3910 tractor I had with a 7209 loader. I ended up never doing it, at almost $1000 to buy the QA and the adapter plates for all my pin on attachments I just kept knocking pins and prying stuff into place until I traded it off for a machine with said QA plate. Look at Everything Attachments loader adapter as they have one with a plate over the latch pins that you can weld to and easily adapt a bracket that hangs over outside of the adapter to hook you loader. Thanks Birdhunter1, a lot of the gear from EA would be perfect for my needs- I'd really like one of their grapples- but shipping would be prohibitive, if they extended their free shipping distance by one order of magnitude I might just sneak in, I would be around 9,500 miles from them. It would cost more to get that adapter here than the price of the thing itself.
