Skid Steer

If your finances allow, bundle your tractor and SS. The dealer will be real interested! This will eliminate Gehl, Bobcat and ASV, but I've never heard about a ASV owner who is happy with his overly complicated under carrage. Hop on over to Skid Steers
there is a lot of discussion about brands/models there. I have had Case, Deere, and NH, all good machines and currently run the biggest Gehl, 5 ton and 110hp. It seems that Bobcat is highly "electronic" and they all may be now, I prefer simplicity, it's a SS not a game boy! You need to consider your "boom" type, many have a vertical lift that is great for truck loading but has many more moving parts and is a not quite as durable as a "radial lift" boom. Dealer support & location is another factor.
