I've been cleaning up some property and dragging some logs out to a burn pile. I like to use my dirt scoop for this. I can scoot it under the ends to pick them up for hooking and unhooking the chain. On the larger diameter logs I can choke it up to keep the end in the bucket to prevent it from digging in while I drag it. After I unhook them I back into the tree to lift it up on the pile. I have also used this for digging up and transplanting a good size tree before.
