Chris - It's a long day without a laugh. I enjoy a good laugh - but please don't pick on my Yugo - it's my pride and joy.
Seriously, we don't no anything about briars - we're flatlanders. I would say it wouldn't - doesn't like morning glory vines. Wrong thing to try! The bushy part of the trees in the soft woods goes through really well, but we also have hedge(Osage Orange) trees, that burns good, but the thorns and gnarly limbs make them hard to work with. We have to cut the limbs down in smaller pieces. The chipper has about a 2' intake, down to 9". Yugo
