We did it again this year! Not much snow yet, but we took advantage of every inch. Photo shows the upper section, straight so you get a good head of steam before entering turn 1. /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif

Hi Pete, looks like fun and now you have a good base ready for the snow we're going to get tonight. My garage is almost finished and I can't wait to get up the work bench. First thing on it will be a good vise!!!!!
Take care and have a Happy Holidays!!!

Pete,

This is your last years post. Is the course the same (read this as are you still crazy)? Looks like a lot of fun/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Man is this course FAST! I only have about seven acres clear on my hill, so I started at the top corner, ran straight for about 100 yards then banked off the woodpile and again off a big granite boulder before rocketing down past the chicken coop into the lower field! Holy cow! The only problem is one of the curves is too tight, so if I don't enter it just right I go rocketing over the banked snow and go airborne about five feet before hitting the powder and coming to a very cold halt with snow in places is doesn't belong!

TT -- The beginning of the course is the same, but banking off the coop scared the chickens and one friend missed the second curve last year and landed on my log pile...so this year I have a 100 yard straightaway followed by a gentle curve to the left all the way to the stone wall at the bottom of the meadow. Much, MUCH faster and less dangerous this year!

I think this ex-Californian has adapted to mountain life rather well!

That's hilarious - just the phrase itself, never mind the visual I'm getting.

I'd sure agree with that. Can the PTO rope tow to get back to top be far off? Think of how many more runs you could get in.

Actually, the idea of having the course curve back to the road was the ability to use the ATV for the return trip!

Have you all ever seen a rig that would do this? I was thinking that a gear box and pully system sure would make the 100' climb back to the top of our hill a little more pleasurable.
