Slime in tire

Last summer I put Slime in both front tires on my 2910. Every 3 to 4 weeks I would have to add air to the left front tire. I checked for any air leaks with water in a washtub. Couldn’t find any. I believe air was being lost when I had a heavy load in FEL and making turns without tractor moving.
Yesterday I installed tubes in the tires.
The Slime was still in the tire and well spread around. I installed the tubes without removing the Slime. There was some Slime coming out of the Valve Stem hole in wheel. Should I have removed the Slime before putting the tubes in?

No problem leaving the slime in the tire.
