How do I tighten the tension on the belt driving the transmission? It seems to not have the tension it should. It slips when I go up any type of hill. The troubleshooting part of the manual says "take it to your dealer". Thanks for your help!

sounds like your old belt may be worn out. they stretch with age. make sure yu replace with a genuine JD belt. replacement belts from other makes are never quite right.
