slow lifting boom

First, hello everyone my name is Donnie and Im the new one to the forum, this is a 553 new holland and it was sitting for 6 years so i bought it and put on a new head to get it running again. The machine is doing ok so far ,except when I fill the bucket with gravel ,the lift moves up very very slow, but when I have half a bucket it moves like it should. And yes i have milky hydrolic oil from sitting that long. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your time!

You need to drain clean/flush and refill with correct fluid. Install new filters and clean any hyd screens if any.

It may take several flush and refill cycles to have the fluid look normal.

Then do some pressure checks and determine if the hyd system is working correctly.
