What is the slowest RPM obtainable on the 2320? Slowest mine will go is about 1200 RPM. My 650 would go all the way down until the engine quit. As a matter of fact the recommended way of stopping the engine on the 650 was to turn the key off (didn't need the key for the engine to stay running) then lower RPMs until the engine stopped. Turning the 2320 off at 1200 RPMs seems a little fast?

Factory specs are 1300 +or- 50 rpm. Your 650 used the throttle lever to shut off the engine as opposed to an electric solenoid. Two totaly different systems. The engine speed on the new engine is kept higher to keep it from "slobbering" having unburnt fuel from polluting the air. Back in the day they said don't run the engine below a 1000 rpm when idleing for extended periods of time. So there is nothing wrong with your 2320.
