Yeah my plan is to get them to the tire store asap but I need to figure out the safe way to remove and bring them and to store the tractor with no wheels/tires on it.. My thought right now is to loosen the bolts with an impact, use the backhoe stabalizers to lift them off the ground and then use the backhoe to load them into my pickup. I assume the backhoe can handle the weight at that extension, never tried it, maybe it can't? I was going to use 6ton jackstands to support the tractor. Then was going to let the tire place handle whatever needs to be done to them and fill with rimguard. Hopefully they do a good job cleaning the rims though.

JMHO - it's a VERY smart move on your part to get rid of the CaCl and replace with RimGuard. Yes, it will not be cheap but done correctly you won't have this situation again. Add tubes and a full boot to each tire.

Small tiny pin holes or slices sound like big 'ol nasty thorns of some kind.

Places I have spoken to don't seem to know what a "boot" is.. say the only thing they ever put in tires are tubes.

Pardon my ingorance, but does a full boot cover the whole thread and up the sidewalls. Never heard of that,

How do you know it's cal-cloride? I'd wipe an area clean where you think it is leaking and then taste it to see if it's salty. Maybe it's not ca-cl and they remove it and install another product, all at your cost.

I'd suggest some 6x6 pieces of wood (often called cribbing) laid cross ways to each other for support while the tires are off. Much more stable then most jackstands.

If you're taking your tire to a shop that is not familiar with a "boot", I doubt they will be able to pump the solution out, and/or replace it with anything. They probably don't understand the importance of a cleaned wheel if it is salt. They sound incompetent for a tire shop! Shop around some!

Well the original dealer I bought the tractor from told me it was CaCL but I am not certain. It is a milk white fluid that is a bit sticky. I will check with a few other shops. This shop I spoke with is a rimguard dealer and does a lot of AG tires.

The CaCL I have seen is clear & has a slightly oily feel to it if you rub it between your fingers.
