I'll second that! Run only premium fuel and add some Sea Foam (about an ounce) twice per year.

Whal I'll be a suck-egg mule! I had never heard of using straight SeaFoam as a "fuel" temporarily. I thought I was pushing the envelope by adding 2fl oz to a cup of fuel mix.

The IPA in the seafoam is a solvent and removes some gum and goo . So would a dose of gas line anti freeze .

For the little bitty amount of fuel small engines consume . It's cheap insurance against ethanol damage and damage from detonation to use premium non ethanol gasoline. Small high output engines tend to detonate under heavy loads, in hot weather and if adjusted a wee bit lean.
Many so called lubrication failures had nothing to do with lubrication . Instead the hole in the piston , crushed ring lands , broken rings or scuffed cylinder walls was caused by high pressure shock waves from detonation.

I just wish they would sell the non ethanol fuel more places. Around us you pretty much have to go to the Mariana, wish Sheetz or Speedway would carry it!

Add in about 1 ounce of Sea Foam to a fresh tank of fuel to clean everything out. If that solves the problem ( usually it will) great! If not I would suspect fuel filter first and then carb. Good luck!

You know I am not sure if it has a fuel filter on that one - need to look at that...
