IdiotMobile just passed. How did I know it was an IdiotMobile? I heard the 'music' coming several seconds before the vehicle appeared.

IIRC you have brought this up before... it appears you are serious about it.
I have used it a few times at the grocery store... usually I still have to have some help.

Me too, but that's because they have to physically approve liquors purchases..... :drink:
The last time that I tried to use it I'd bought a tuna steak at the fish counter which wouldn't scan. One reason that I started using it is that they have somebody standing there directing traffic, so it's easy to get bailed out if I can't get the scanner to work.

Like so much technology, it's not very user friendly. Great if you have figured it out or had help and then use it all the time. Not intuitive at all.
And then, I can't figure out how to pay with VISA because they want you to use their card in this particular case and kind of hide the Generic VISA payment option. Time will tell if I make as many mistakes as their systems, that often don't give you sale prices at checkout. Tired of having to watch all that stuff like a hawk. With self checkout, I can be much more relaxed and inattentive.
