There are several manufacturers of tractors in India but Mahindra is way the most popular. The tracors are very basic two wheel drive but apparently do the work.

Hi.
I have a Mahindra 2810 gear with fel and bh. It was built by T Y M. It is a very good tractor. It now has 900 hours. I am well pleased with it. It has done everything I have asked it to do.

Indian farmers are poor by US standards so Indian tractors are very basic and have only absolutely necessary things such as engine, trany, wheels etc. No ROPS. The low cost is the issue.

The tractor in the second and third picture are a direct copy of the early 50/60's International B275. They did not even bother to change the name......Great old simple basic virtually indestructible tractors.
The Indians did the same with the old Morris cars. Bought the rights to manufacture..still making them 40/50 years later.
From memory the did the same with Royal Enfield motorcycles...Now they sell the all over the world as a classics 50's English bike brand new.
Perhaps they have the right idea.....buy a classic reliable design and just keep making it.

IIRC, Mahindra based some of their first tractors on the IH B414 also.

yep just an old fashion work horse.... FWIW ROPS, turn/stop/hazard, safety triangle, and other safety shields are only on our tractors because they have to by law to be legally sold here.
