I bought a used eMax 22 HST, which appeared to be in good shape. I used it 2-3 times last week for a 1-2 hours each time, no issues other than I ran it out of fuel by accident - fuel gauge stuck at half, I filled the tank and the gauge read full then, bobber might have gotten stuck while trailering it home.
Today I went to start it, I turned on the ignitiion and let the glow plug light on for a bit - and while this happened I got a phone call and answered it. I let the ignition on, without the tractor running.
I tried to start the tractor and it cranked but didn't start and a small bit of white smoke cam out of the cruise control/brake hold level area. I turned the ignition completely off and waited a bit, then tried again and found even more smoke and now if I turn the key - the dash won't even light.
I pulled off the cover where the cruise control/brake hold is and saw nothing burned but I'm not sure where the smoke was specifically coming from... Any clue what I might have done? Did I let the glow plugs warm too long? It's 85 F here in NC so they didn't need to be warmed much at all, I just got the phone call that stopped me from paying attention.
