I have an L01 and have to take hay out to the pasture. This winter has so much drifting. Clearing with the FEL just makes it worse. Any advice about the PTO mounted snow blower? Thinking this might be a good counter-weight, as the tractor does seem kind of "narrow" with a bale on the spear. (Northern Minnesota)

Yep, it will work great.

There are even kits you can add to replace the skids with wheels to raise it up even higher so you aren't chucking gravel and debris.

Should be a piece of cake. Probably not many rocks, roots, limbs, stobs etc out in the field.

I used our 7 ft ARPS when we had cows over the winter. I laid down the feed in the cleared area. Our pastures a re clear of tree stumps and I can see the rocks.

I have used our 7' Loftness to clear a path through the pasture so the pygmy goats could walk around and not be stuck in the barn till the snow melts.

I also live in MN and feel your pain with the winter we've had this year. I do exactly what your questioning. I have to get a round bale out to the horses every few weeks and I keep a path cleared to the bale ring with a 6 ft 3pt blower. The only issue I've had has been with the frozen horse pooh. The blower chops it up and throws it but makes a heck of a noise and it shoots the frozen chunks a long ways so just be mindful of where the chute is aimed. Works pretty good though.

Set the skid shoes high or carry it slightly off the ground. I clear barn yard in the winter. Frozen manure either goes through it like rocks or jams it up.
