Kubota BX2230
I apologize for the vague title. I'm picking up a BX2230 tomorrow and there's a used BX2750 snow blower for sale in the same town. It looks to be in great condition and the guy wants $1500 for it. He said he's used it on his BX2200 tractor but doesn't need it anymore with his small driveway. Will a snow blower from a BX2200 with all attachments fit a BX2230 or will I need to buy new parts to hook it up? If not it's not that great of a deal as a brand new one from the dealer is about $3K and that includes the mounting hardware. I'm hoping to get an answer sooner then later as I'm headed 2 and half hours south of here tomorrow morning to pick up the tractor so picking up the blower would save me another 5+ hour round trip.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Is it a 3 point mount?

It will fit your tractor if it was bought for a BX2200. The quick hitch is the same for both tractors.

Does the loader valve stay on the tractor when the loader is disconnected? You will need to do some modifications if it stays with the loader & you
want to use a snow blower. Just something to be aware of.

The BX2230 should have the loader controls mounted on the tractor not the loader. The real question is how was the snow blower set up. Some (most?) of the BX2200's had the loader valves mounted to the loader not the tractor. This meant removing a pin at the top of the right side loader arm and not the bottom so the vertices part with the controls would stay with the tractor. If that's the case with this blower you might have to do some changes to the hoses to get it to connect. Everything else should work fine though. A new blower in my neck of the woods is $3400 so $1500 doesn't sound too bad if its in good shape and ready to go. I've only used mine one season but it sure will throw snow. Good luck!

Thanks everyone for all the help. It's been awhile since I was last on here so I thought I'd post up. I ended up getting the BX2230 tractor. It's in great shape with 700 hours and came with a FEL, MMM, grass catcher, box blade and heavy equipment trailer. Pretty nice setup. I ended up not getting the snowblower as the guy wouldn't sell the quick hitch attachment with it it which made it pretty expensive for used blower.

However, today a guy has a front mount snowblower for a BX25 for sale with the quick hitch. Anyone know if this will fit my tractor? My BX2230 has the FEL controls that stay on the tractor when you take off the FEL.

Most of the components will fit- the issue is the PTO driveshaft (driveline, in Kubota terms). The earlier BX models were shorter and used a driveline p/n 70001-00755 (now 70060-04541) which retails for $322.00
I don't have a listing for the driveline that fits the BX25. I'm sure a dealer could look it up quickly.

If you had to replace that one part, it's big $$$

From what I see looking at the parts diagram for the BX25 mid PTO driveline kit, that shaft is a different part number. I think you may be looking at replacing at least that part with the one for your 2230.
