I recently purchased a 5' blower that at one time was a rear 3 pt pto driven and converted to one that slides into the bucket and is driven by a hydraulic pto pump. It has a 24" fan and after replacing a return line and one pioneer fitting it was spinning away. This season I am looking forward to the snow flying. I only have a 400' drive but my snowbanks were probably 8' tall last winter and it will be nice to blow it out into the woods. I have a Mahindra 3510 for a tractor.

I'm looking to do the same as you, I got a 5 foot snowblower at auction for $425 and want to use it on the front. Never thought about mounting it in the loader bucket. I would like to know what you used for a pump and what you used for the snow blower end as a motor. What kind of control valve did you add and what sized lines did you run. I am thinking about using a PTO pump to get greater volume than my JD 790 will supply.

I'll try and post some pics and maybe someone can identify these components. I have no valves in the line- straight feed from hydraulic pump to hydraulic motor up front all controlled by engaging pto. Its got some pretty good size hoses I imagine to allow proper flow. The unit is held in place in the bucket by a turnbuckle attached to a bracket I fabricated that bolts on the bucket. This unit has a 24" fan that should kick the snow out at a pretty good rate.
