I've got a 2520 with a 200cx loader. I was wondering if I was to purchase a snow blower with hydraulic rotation just how do the hydraulics hook up? Am I wrong to assume that I would disconnect two hydraulic hoses going to my loader and the rear snow blower hoses would then connect there?

You could do that, however, most folks have remote hydraulic quick disconnects installed at the rear for operating hydraulic implements. That way, your fel is still operational.

All that I currently have on my 2520 is the power beyond to power my model 46 back hoe. I wanted to be certain I could operate the hydro rotation if I was to purchase one with a hydro accessory. Not the up down chute, just the rotation.

So the PB connection is on your loader? Is that for a grapple? How do you operate your PB? Is there another joystick, or switch to run it? If so, then using that to operate the blower chute rotation would be fine. As I said earlier, most folks install a rear remote with quick disconnects to plug in a rear mounted implement, but your PB would work fine.

Just a tip, when you get your blower with a rotating chute, set up the stops on the rotator. Otherwise, the chute will rotate around and throw 50 lbs of snow down your neck! Ask me how I know. :ashamed:

The PB on my tractor is only to provide hydraulic pressure to an implement that has it own controls. When I disconnect my backhoe I must install a looping hose on the PB outlet toward the tractor.
That's why I wondered if disconnecting two hydraulic hoses from my 200cx loader was what people are doing that do not have separate hydro controls on the rear of their tractor.

Disconnecting will work, but you will lose control of one bucket function. I tend to leave my bucket off most of winter so I probably wouldn't miss it.
You could also get an additional hydraulic control block if you want and have it plug into the power beyond hoses. You would have to disconnect this block to attach the backhoe.
I added my own rear hydraulics as I didn't have power beyond. The valve would be the same if you decided to add one, except you would have the ease of plugging the hoses into the power ruins.

Smalltown, how do you remove the pressure from the line to plug in your backhoe?

Not knowing hydraulic controls from "shinola" What would a control be called that I could connect via hoses to my existing PB outlet to operate just the chute rotator? Would that be called a spool valve, and would it have a single handle much like my loader joystick? Possibly there are plugs in unused "ports". Couldn't quite see how many handles on you install (looks quite nice from that view) , but you apparently have two outlets and two returns? I'll visit some hydro web sites to try and educate myself.

I recall seeing a poster somewhere that installed a control on the snow blower rather than on the tractor, but I am not sure I could reach from the seat to operate it.

rmorey I need to shut off the tractor to connect to the PB outlet.

I just use an electric power window motor to turn the chute. Wired it to a double pull double throw switch with a spring return to off. Pretty cheap and simple. I have a post about somewhere on this site.
