Thanks in advance for any help you guys have. I'm a hydraulics newbie, and I've got a Kubota L35 I want to rig up for a snow plow. It's got a quick release front bucket, so that's easy. I'll get a mounting plate and I have a Fisher plow to mount to it. Up and down are simple, but I'll need to add a control for angling the plow.
I visited my dealer yesterday, and he showed me roughly how to plumb the system (Bob Wolf from Woodbury Tractor in Woodbury, CT - Great guy). Trouble is, I forget exactly what valve he said to order, and he's out of the office right now. In short, I'll re-route the supply from the backhoe through a new valve which I'll mount on the fender. Bob pointed out one at surpluscenter.com. I'm pretty sure it was a single spool valve, but there are several choices. Do I need a motor control valve, or a log splitter valve? Should it have detents or spring centering?
Again, thanks for any help.
Here's a link to the valve I think I need: http://www.surpluscenter.com/item.asp?item=9-6765&catname=hydraulic
