Thanks to the help of various members on this board I was able to plumb the hydraulics for a snow plow that I moved from a Jeep to my Deere. Worked great. I decided to put the plow on the tractor today. Got the plow bolted on and lines connected with no trouble. Started up the tractor to make sure that the plow operated properly, which it did at first but after angling the plow back and forth left to right I could hear the pump struggling to make the swing. After a couple of swings the blade would get to a point short of full angle when it would refuse to swing any further. I would then swing the blade back the other direction, which worked fine, then when I tried to go back the other way it wouldn't even go as far as it did the time before. I have a double acting cylinder to raise and lower the blade which works as it should. There are two single acting cylinders (one left and one right) to angle the blade. During the summer I broke one of the restrictors on one of the angling cylinders but have replaced it. It seemed that if I opened up the restrictors on the cylinders the blade would make the swing once or twice but then right back to the same problem. Any ideas? Thanks.
