Snow Snow removal from those "sensitive" areas

Wow Bandaman took the words out of my mouth, I cut a 5" strip off of a horse mat and mounted it between the blade and cutting edge. I keep the remainder as flooring on the cold concrete. When I wear out the strip (which at the rate of our mid Maryland snowfalls should be never) I'll just cut another 5" off.....

Does anyone have any experience using the float position of the FEL with a plow attached? It seems like it would work as well?

hey pushindirt, Float is float regardless of bucket or plow blade.

Although....if the blade is mounted like mine. (it already floats in the bucket) then I can't use he FEL float. I just keep the bucket 2-3" off the ground and my blade floats inside the bucket.

I tried clamping the blade so there was no float, then use the FEl float, and it dodn't work as well as my original design...Probably because of the extra weight being further from the pivot point....

Doesn't matter right now as I'm using a walkbehind snowblower:( the tractor is still at the dealer. Thay haven't told me whats wrong yet. See Post "This might not be good" Suppose to be 4-7" of mix snow/rain today, Yeah that snowblower will work real good....NOT

And my new 3 pt logg splitter arrived yesterday all assembled in the garage just waiting now:eek:

Just plain frustrating...

Sorry I'm still kind of new. I figured a plow mounted in the bucket was fixed.
I like your set-up because you can use the loader function to raise the plow and knock off the top of snowbanks. Is your set-up something you did or your dealer? Looks good!

Its my mount, looked at what others had done and adapted to my needs.

I didn't want to have to remove and swap the bucket for the plow, as I will always need it to pile the snow, I also wanted it to be quick and easy.

welded to tabs inside the bucket to pin the plow A frame, and chain hang it like it was on a truck. takes 45 seconds to line up and pin in place, and out just as fast..

currently manual angle (which I almost never use) but will be installing rear remote valves to add hydraulic angle...
