Snowblower and pto hp for 2012 sc2400

Took the tractor to the guy up my street a couple of nights ago. Hitched up hit 60 inch meteor. It says it weighs 430 in the specs. Picked that up no problem. Put my buddy on it who is 260. Picked it up at idle. Put his 200 pound son on with him. Picked it up at idle. Had them hang as far off of the back as possible and picked them right up. I was in the 890 pound range at idle. Whats up with that?

The specs for 3-pt hitches and loaders have a "safety factor" built in......not exactly sure but I would figure 10-20% below actual max. Reason would be for safety/warranty. If you continually lift the absolute max you are stressing components to the maximum every lift. And, say you didn't have a loader on the front or weights.....and tried to lift the max with the 3-pt....
Same would go for the loader. You can pick up a bit more than the stated max specs. I've done it, and gotten scared a few times.....not enough counterbalance and your azz end will become airborne. Just have to exercise caution with full loads!

How many hundred pounds of wet snow would be in and around the blower when it is running too?

Going to stay with a blower in the 450 range I think. Thinking hard about the landpride at 430 pounds if I recall. Should give me plenty to spare.
