Snowblower Snowblower arrived today!!!

Here's the latest addition to Barbie's accessories.

Made by a Candian outfit, JRW. It was the same cost as the Chinese unit, so yes, I did buy something other than Chinese. I still get to put it together though. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It's 62" wide and weighs just over 500 lbs.

The boom pole is 10' long and the Jinma224 had no trouble lifting it.

Mark the pictures are too dark to tell, is it a single stage or double stage snowblower?

I got it from Bolton Power Equipement crated. The price was part of a package deal. By itself, I think it would be ~$1600.

I hope to get it assembled on Sunday.

It's a two stage thrower. The auger is driven by a chain that looks like a motorcycle drive chain. The impeller is a direct drive off of the PTO. The chute is manipulated by a rod and steel cable. It weighs about 500 lbs.

I'll post as soon as it's assembled. The one I saw in operation was really quiet and produced a significant breeze from the chute.
