I have a Bercomac snowblower on a Husqvarna tractor and for the life of me I cannot resolve the belt slippage in even a moderate snow. I'm already 2 sizes smaller than what's recommended. I can remember a day many years ago where there was a compound one void get to resolve snowmobile belt slippage. I was unable to locate any such prodigy on the web and believe those vents are all molded with notches in them nowadays. Is there a different belt made for lawn & garden tractors that has some sort of tackiness property to it? Thanx

Belt not bottoming out in the pulley grooves possibly. Belt needs to ride in the groove to get traction, but if contacting the bottom of the groove will prevent proper friction leading to slippage.

Belt Dressing, at least ten different ones on Amazon. Can be had in aerosol spray, or stick. Any parts house will have it.

But as said above, check to be sure you have the right profile of belt, before opting to use the belt dressing. And, slipping belts can get a polish on them and the pulleys, leaving them really slick. And that could require a new belt and scuffing up the pulleys.
