In the Kubota brochure, it specs a 62" front and a 64" rear snowblower for the L3240.
It offers a 66" bucket for the LA514 loader and a 72" for the (stronger) LA724
Also specs a 72" front blade for the same tractor
All implements are the same with an L3540. (makes sense, as it is practically the same machine)
But, with R4 tires, I measured the width at a local dealer of 67" or 68" (depending on what you considered width. The 67" is how wide of impression I thick the "tread" would make in soft dirt)
I asked if the R4 were adjusted to their farthest setting, or if there was spacers installed. No for spacers and the width is not adjustable with R4s.
What's up with that? Implements narrower than the tread width? Especially snow blowers?
I have to be missing something. After that 72" blade is angled even a bit it MAY cover 64-66", still too narrow for the tractor.
Or is the literature misprinted?
Are 6' implements the norm for the 3240? If so, I'd think that'd tax the 25 PTO HP quite a bit, especially with a 6' snowblower or 6' rotary cutter.
Thanks for any light you can shed on this........
