Maybe people will chime in about why they like a particular brand. The thing is that rear-mount-back-up blowers have very similar design. They tend to use standard industrial ag gearboxes, bearings, couplings, roller chain, etc. If you want certain features like hydraulic chute and/or deflector some brands offer them and some don't. But for the basic function of moving snow they are surprisingly alike. Classic case of a simple product that's labor-intensive, low-tech, low-volume, low margin and heavy to handle and ship. Comes down to price and local availability. Brand comes into it with special configuration - like front-mount-rear pto-driven (Erskine) or bi-directional (Pronovost)
