Hey Marty,

No I do not have a soft cab for my LA115 as of yet as this coming winter will be my first with it.

I am torn between building a hard cab as the net cost and tax for the soft cab is about $130 and change.

It looks roomy enough but it will be impossible to add lights and an all weather fender radio.

Marty I love the picture of the furry rug rats:thumbsup:

I only wish the wifes weiners behaved as well as your dogs, they are totally neurotic :(

And rats they are. Now we are waiting on the birth of a Boxhead Lab. Should hit the ground mid may. Where did you see a cab for $130?
Thanks

Hey Marty,

I tried finding a price for the snow cab and
the Deere home page said "contact dealer GGGGRRRRRR!!!

I think that was a typo on my part marty
the price may have been $330.00 which made
me think I should build one for that kind of money.

I would love to see more of your puppy photos
Marty, thanks much.

Hey Marty,

When I asked the curtis folks about a hard cab they said it was not possible with the these John Deere tractors because of the exhaust being directed under the tractor- I will remedy that issue myself if I decide to go through with a hard cab.

I'm thinking I will be buying the soft cab for the L111 for one more winter and try to save to build upon my CC SC2400. When the Deere finally gets dialed in, it really isn't a bad machine to blow snow. Definitely get frustrating and cold. Here's a shot of the athlete

Hello Marty,

My biggest worry is the yellowing of the plastic over time
which will render it useless because of the poor visibility.

I figured with the four mounting points for the attachments
I can build a fair cab for winter use.

Your German Shepard dogs are beautiful animals marty,
I hope you can share more pictures if posssible.

I may eventually purchase a German Shepard from the Monks
at the New Skete Monastary in the future if my health gets better.

Leon, I too would rather build my own, but I have just the basics for tools at this time. I think ill always have at least one shepard in the mix. So much better than any house alarm I can't think of
