So, How tall of grass will the ZD cut

I planted some winter rye and was ready to turn the field. Already had the plow hooked up and didn't want to take it off and put the brush hog on to mow down the rye before turning it over. Thought....I wonder how the ZD326 would do. Of course I didn't go throught it full forward speed but I drove at a nice brisk walking pace with the grass just a flying. Never hessitated at all. An NO, I don't live in the trailer. It's going to be demo'd in the fall. It's affectionatly refered to as the "Rat Trailer"

Mowed some similiar rye here - it's not bad cutting it as long as it is not damp. I expect your newer pro deck vs. the older/more shallow one allows for a better cut than mine. Toughest job I've put mine on was overgrown Bermuda for a lady that wanted it scalped. That's the only time I have ever bogged the ZD21 down.
