You can't stop a leak in a tire thas has a tube in it with a plug.
Don't matter it the tire is tubless or a tube type.

I figured that out. The difference is that when a stupid rookie like me sees the word "tubeless" on the side of a tire, the natural conclusion is that there's no tube in there. Nevermind that the valve stem is obviously the type that is connected to a tube.

I'm lookin' for suggestions as how to keep tire repair glue fresh? bjr

I have had moderate success keeping PVC glue fresh in an ammunition box.

A good solution might be single use tubes, if you could find them.

Thanks Doug, didn't know it was the valve stem. Still waiting on both Jim's job and mine to settle down to something like a routine then Jim and I should be able to come out and get some of that mesquite. Also looks like we're going to make an offer within the next few days (keeping fingers crossed). This is what will be feeding the wood to

Seriously, let me know when you want to come out... have a huge pile of mesquite the contractor pushed up when he dug out the stock tank in January... should be nice and dry now for Q'ing... If'n you want green, we have lots of that too.. lol

Cool. Yes we made that about 3 years ago. Jim just replaced the firebox a couple of weeks ago. This was made out of an old 500gal fuel tand that was left in a field for many years. I'll let you know when we can come out. Hopefully in a few weeks. If you could PM me your phone number.
