Anyone else out there with one. I have a Solarhart 300ltr.
Works OK at my latitude 39 degrees - Melbourne Aust. during the summer from equinox to equinox but is useless during winter.

Smokey - Have I come across another Aussie. I hope so. We are few and far between here. Fill in some more details on your profile if you can. That would be good.

Hey we had a Solahart at our old place here and it was pretty good most of the year. Don't forget where we are though. It was nearly 20 years old and was on the way out. They aren't thermostatically controlled so in summer the water was dangerously hot (Given we often have 35 degrees)

During winter it was alright except for 2 or more cloudy days. We used the electric booster quite a lot when rainy or cloudy.

But I think a new one would have been a lot more efficient.

Melbourne would be a different matter though I think.

Hey we are on our way down there next week for a Conference. Spending 12 days there. Looking forward to it a lot. Not been there before. The weather looks nice at the moment but do you expect it to get cold soon??

Cheers
